Vipassana  focuses on the deep interconnection, which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical sensations. It is this observation-based, self-exploratory journey that dissolves mental impurity.  Central is the knowledge of body sensations and the space between. A very down to earth grounding meditation and extremely helpful in combination with trauma work.

The NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) is a method of psychotherapy specifically aimed at treating attachment, relational and developmental trauma, otherwise referred to as “Complex Trauma” (Complex-PTSD or C-PTSD).  This developmentally-oriented, neuroscientifically-informed model emerged out of earlier psychotherapeutic orientations including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Gestalt Therapy, and diverse Somatic Psychotherapy approaches. Integrating top-down psychotherapy with
bottom-up somatic approaches within a relational context.
NARM holds that while what happened in the past is significant, it is not what happened in the past that creates the symptoms that people experience as adults. It is the persistence of survival styles appropriate to the past that distorts present experience and creates symptoms. These survival patterns, having outlived their usefulness, create ongoing disconnection from our authentic self and from others. For example, dissociation and isolation are the primary coping mechanisms for dealing with the earliest trauma. While dissociation and isolation have literally saved people’s lives, as this pattern continues into adulthood, it creates endless symptoms. https://narmtraining.com/resources/ listen to podcasts +

Bessel van der Kolk MD has spent his career studying how children and adults adapt to traumatic experiences.

https://janinafisher.com/resources
We now understand that trauma’s imprint is both psychological and somatic: long after the events are over, the body continues to respond as if danger were everpresent. My professional mission has been to bring this understanding of trauma to both clients and their therapists as a psychotherapist, consultant, and trainer of clinicians looking for answers to helping their traumatized clients. I believe the key to healing is not just knowing what happened but transforming how the mind, body, and soul still remember it.

https://kripalu.org/resources/cutting-edge-trauma-treatment-healing-through-body-0
Because trauma has so many physical effects, it’s clear to Bessel why it’s important to move beyond simply talking: “It’s great to be able to put your feelings into words,” he says, “and feeling that somebody understands your suffering is enormously comforting. But it doesn’t make your body know that you are safe. The real method is resetting your physiology.”
Bessel says that yoga is an ideal method to do this. “Yoga really attends to the body and the breath, attends to stillness. It allows you to feel everything you feel, to tolerate every sensation, and to live and move with it.”
To this end, he recommends yoga in conjunction with working with a person who has special training in trauma therapy. “None of my patients have been able to tolerate a yoga program if they weren’t in therapy at the same time. Too much painful stuff comes up.”
Of course, yoga isn’t the only body-based therapy for releasing past trauma. “Overcoming trauma is learning how to regulate your own psychological system, and there are many ways to do that,” says Bessel. Other somatic techniques helpful for trauma include Somatic Experiencing, Sensory Motor Therapy, Hakomi Method, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy. As more research is done on trauma, somatic therapies like these just might move to the forefront of trauma recovery.

The differences and similarities between Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing:
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a method of treating the way in which a traumatic event is held in a person's body. A trauma that has not been processed, can continue to be re-experienced on a somatic level, with symptoms such as, but not limited to, physical pain, numbing, hyperarousal of emotions or rapid heart beat.
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy interventions guide an individual in becoming aware of how their body communicates emotion, particularly those that resulted from a traumatic experience, and then focuses on assisting the client in learning how to manage those feelings and the somatic expression. Treatment is designed to prevent re-traumatization by building resources for the modulation of emotion and arousal. For additional information go to: www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org. by Pat Ogden.
Note site author: In general psycho therapy is mind based on a separate identity, a story. When we drop the story, life is very simple, when it comes to trauma. Anyhow any tool is welcome, just be aware of the pitfall of psycho therapy please.

Orgone Energy: The Greatest Discovery SUPPRESSED by the FDA
Scenes from the documentaries: "The Strange Case of Wilhelm Reich" (2012) and "Wilhelm Reich - Cloudbusting" (1953) were used under Fair Use.
Wilhelm Reich was a major contributor to the body/mind sciences of the early 20th century, and is credited as being the key driver of this form of scientific enquiry in the West up until the 1940’s. Reich proposed a model of the human condition that suggested a theory of energy being a primary component of all matter and space, a concept he called the orgone energy.  This energy was important for living organisms as in effect it was a “life force”.
In his Segmental Armoring theory, seven segments of the body exist where armoring or muscular tensions develop or takes place, and where the segmental contractions are at right angles to the flow of “life force” or orgone energy in the body.
7 Segments or Belts of Tension in BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release

https://www.townsendletter.com/Jan2007/reichian0107.htm
Reichian Therapy Relieves Armoring, Myofascial Release.
Once Reich began to understand the process of armoring and its meaning in our lives, he began to develop a number of techniques to dissolve or unwind it. The first of these techniques is hinted at in the term "energy economy" mentioned above.
Reich saw emotional repression as a conflict of opposing forces triggered by a painful experience. When individuals experience a physical or emotional trauma, they naturally want to express it. However, when that natural expression is repressed out of fear or for other reasons, it doesn't just go away, it continually seeks expression. It pushes to get out. When the need to repress the emotion pushes back, the two forces become locked in a constant state of opposition.

Mystical Principles, as taught and transmitted by Thomas Hübl, give us access to the underlying structures of our reality. They allow us to shift our perception from the surface level of life to perceive at increasingly subtle levels the principles and forces that lie behind the everyday reality.

From the mystical perspective, trauma creates ‘frozen ground’ in the individual and collective field.

It is a good idea for the trauma client to agree to complete the therapy. Trauma therapy is very difficult – who wants to remember a trauma? – and such a contract provides some degree of protection. It is not a good idea to begin a somatic trauma therapy, triggering the bodily responses and emotions involved, unless there is good chance the client will see it through.
I decided that the BODYnamic running technique would be useful...see next link

https://istss.org/public-resources/trauma-blog/2001-spring/inside-body-therapy-helpful-or-problematic
A core element in shock trauma therapy is reestablishing the running reflex. This effect is obtained by making the client run continuously while lying on a mattress. After some practice of the technique and the "stop" mechanism (i.e., establishing contact with the present), the client talks about the shock. As soon as there are signs of anxiety, stiffness or numbness, the client must run to the safe place where he or she receives contact and care from the contact person. Subsequently, the orientation reflex is processed, and locked muscle tension patterns as well as inexpedient decisions are treated. The client returns with new tools to the shock event and starts all over again, or continues to relive the event. The work continues until the event can be relived without loss of memory and shock reactions
